Workshop
The lapidary workshop is not open at this time. Silver Workshop is open for members only with prior metalsmithing experience or have taken a class at the club. The workshop tender is there to for minimal assistance. Members must provide their own materials and work on their projects independently.
Visitors are welcome during lapidary workshop hours. Please see the shop attendant for a tour and you can try and polish a stone with their help.
If the club seems like a good fit, memberships are sold during club hours as well.
Workshop Information
The lapidary shop is well equipped with both machinery and hand tools, and beginners need not bring anything to get started - but students should, of course, begin assembling their own tool kits and safety gear as they go along.
Whether you want to learn a new skill or simply polish an old one, our instructors are always ready to help.

All members and visitors must observe the Parma Lapidary Club Code of Conduct while present in the workshop

The club has the ability to cut larger rocks into slabs for an added fee.

Silversmithing
Studio
Benches, flexshafts, torches, polishers, and rolling mill, everything you need for working with metals.
The Silver Studio is open on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month to members. The rest of the workshops are not open. Members must provide their own materials and work on their projects independently. This is not a silversmithing class.
The Silver Studio is accessible during regular workshop hours by members after completing studio training and are on the approved list.
