SAWING AND SOLDERING: HALLOWEEN PENDANT

Class fee $60 members/$95 non-members; plus $20 materials fee
OBJECTIVE
Become familiar with basic metalsmithing techniques including sawing, drilling, filing, sanding, sweat soldering, texturizing, and polishing.
Create a Halloween themed pendant from 20 gauge silver sheet.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Prior metalsmithing classes or experience is helpful, but this class is open to confident beginners.
MATERIALS NEEDED
The materials fee for this class is $20, which includes a 1.25” x 2” square sheet of 20 gauge .925 sterling silver, 1 dozen saw blades, and access to all the tools/materials you will need to create your pendant.
The materials fee is due on the day of class and can be paid by cash/Venmo/Zelle. Finished chains may be purchased at additional cost.

ATTIRE
Please bring an apron with you. Wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Long hair needs to be tied back, and long sleeves/jewelry/watches should not be worn while working with drills, torches, polishing wheels, etc.

The class fee payment of $60 member or $95 non-member is required to reserve your spot in class and is non-refundable. There are 5 spots available and will be reserved in order payment is received.
